Garbage Service: Garbage collection service in South Woodland Hills is provided by Waste Management. Your Community Association bills each residential property owner for garbage service each June.
Garbage service is provided only to those properties for which the garbage bill has been paid in full. The annual fee is due July 1st and is for service from July 1st through June 30th of the next year. You will receive an invoice from the association management company on behalf of the homeowners association.
Normal garbage is collected on Monday and Thursday of each week, except when a holiday falls on one of these days. Normal garbage is picked up at the garage end of your driveway. This service eliminates placing unsightly trash
cans/bags curbside.

Waste Management will pick up two large bulky items – wash machine, dishwasher, etc. They will also take yard waste, bundled in units not to exceed 40 pounds, cardboard flattened and not to exceed 4 feet in any dimension. Branches must be bundles, and not more than 4 feet in length.
Refrigerators and freezers must be free of Freon, and certified as such. Waste Management will pick up as many as 8 containers of trash or 15 bags (or combinations such as 4 containers and 7 bags) of trash No automotive material, fencing, or remodeling trash will be picked up.
Waste Management became the first major solid waste company to focus on residential single-stream recycling, which allows customers to mix recyclable paper, plastic and glass in one bin. This is a separate service available to South
Woodland Hills residents who request it from Waste Management.
